Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

Welcome to Earmail. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Earmail Does

Earmail converts email newsletters into audio podcast episodes using AI-powered text-to-speech technology. You forward emails to a personal address we provide, and we narrate them as podcast episodes delivered to your private RSS feed.

2. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One account per person — do not share your forwarding address or feed URL publicly.

3. Acceptable Use

Earmail is designed for personal use — converting newsletters and emails you have received and have the right to access. You agree not to:

  • Use Earmail to process content you do not have the right to access
  • Redistribute narrated audio commercially without permission from the original content creator
  • Abuse the service by sending spam, malware, or excessive volume intended to disrupt the platform
  • Share your private feed URL publicly or use it to redistribute content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service

4. Content and Copyright

The newsletters you forward remain the intellectual property of their original authors and publishers. Earmail creates audio narrations for your personal use only. We act as a tool for accessibility and convenience — similar to a screen reader or text-to-speech assistant.

If you are a content creator and believe your work is being used on Earmail in a way that infringes your rights, please contact us at hello@earmail.app.

5. DMCA Compliance

Earmail respects the intellectual property rights of others. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To submit a takedown notice, email hello@earmail.app with the subject line “DMCA Takedown.”

6. Service Availability

Earmail is currently in beta. We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uptime, delivery speed, or audio quality. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Earmail offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time — access continues through the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

Earmail is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: inaccurate narrations, mispronunciations, missed content, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Earmail after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
