Beta Features: Weekly Digest and Reflection Prompts

We just launched two new beta features that I'm really excited about: Weekly Digest and Reflection Prompts. Both are off by default but easy to activate in Earmail Settings.

The Weekly Digest is a short bonus episode that's algorithmically generated every Sunday that analyzes the articles you had narrated that week and highlights common themes, tensions, and interesting parallels. Think of it as CBS Sunday Morning, but curated just for you, only a few minutes long, and completely screen-free. If you look at your screen, though, check out the custom artwork we've developed for that episode — we think it's a fun encapsulation of your week.

The Reflection Prompts are optional questions you can have Earmail generate after each episode you listen to. It analyzes the content of the newsletter and asks follow-up questions designed to engage you more deeply in the material or think about it in a different way. Imagine a college professor cold-calling you after you've read a paper or case study — that's our model (though hopefully with lower stress)!

Both features are new and evolving based on your feedback, so please let us know what you think and we'll continue to tweak these features and work on more like them.
