When we started to develop Earmail I knew it was going to be important to make it customizable. I was tired of hearing the same boring narration voice on my computer or standard text-to-speech products. So Earmail is built from the ground up with multiple, high-definition voice options, and users have the ability to both pick which voices they want to use and even assign a specific voice to a specific newsletter — so you can know as soon as an episode starts in your podcast player which newsletter it's from.
Users can also tweak narration speed for each newsletter, and make other tweaks like how long the breaks should be between sections and at the end of each episode. We've tried to set thoughtful default values, but if you want to dial-in each detail we've tried to make it as easy as possible to have a fully-customized Earmail experience. If there are any other settings you'd like to be able to change, let us know and we'll do our best to add them!
